L4A is delighted to be hosting our first ever art exhibition to proudly display the work of residents from care homes, nursing homes and sheltered accommodation settings. Our older learners are now busy selecting from their own works with us painting, sketches and other art work forms that they would like to display in the exhibition.
The exhibition will take place at Leicester’s beautiful Guildhall from 11am-4pm on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th April. The exhibition is open to the public and free, although donations towards our ongoing charitable work are gratefully received.
L4A works with around 200 older people each week across Leicester and Leicestershire who are receiving some sort of care or support to go about their daily lives. We have been proudly facilitating older people to learn art since 2008 when our charity was first established.
An invitation is available to download and share here. We hope to see you there.
